Getting braces or Invisalign is a big decision, both mentally and financially. To ensure we are the right fit for you and your family, we offer a free consultation before you make any financial commitment or start treatment.

What to Bring to Your First Orthodontic Appointment

To make the most of this complimentary visit, it’s important to come prepared. We ask that you please bring with you:

The potential patient | While you are meeting our orthodontist and our team at this appointment, we will also be doing a thorough exam of the person who may need braces, Invisalign, or another type of treatment. So if your child is going to be the patient, please bring them.

Your insurance information | We are happy to review your insurance policy with you and contact your provider during this appointment to determine what type of orthodontic insurance coverage you might have. You are also welcome to call us with this information before your appointment so we can check your coverage before you even arrive.

Completed patient forms | For your convenience, we offer our new patient forms online which will be sent to you upon scheduling an appointment. Fill them out and submit them electronically, or print and fill them out and bring them to your first appointment.

Quotes from other orthodontists | Second opinions can offer another point of view or treatment option, and they can confirm that your feelings about another practice, positive or negative, are correct. We will always give a second, or third, opinion free of charge to ensure you are getting the treatment you need.

Your questions | We strongly believe an informed patient is a happy patient. Whether you decide to stay with us for your treatment or go elsewhere, we want you to know as much as possible about your dental issues and the ways to correct them, so please bring all of your questions, and ask them.

What to Expect at Your Free Orthodontic Exam

Your first appointment will be spent getting to know us, touring our office, and learning about treatment options.

We will do a thorough exam, including digital images and x-rays, to determine what treatments would be best to correct your smile.

You’ll leave our office with all the information you need to make the right decision, including an approximate treatment time, an estimated cost, payment plan options, and available insurance coverage.
