The iCat ® 3-D Imaging System dramatically advances patient care by providing high- tech in-office scanning and three dimensional digital reconstruction of our patient’s facial anatomy. This system combines 3-D technology with panoramic imaging; giving Dr. Dabney a complete, precise visualization of your dental structure. The 3-D imaging allows us to accurately diagnose your orthodontic condition and propose a treatment plan to help you achieve optimal results.
Soft Tissue Laser
Dr. Dabney has made a commitment to advanced orthodontic care by performing non-invasive, precise laser treatments on our patients soft tissue and gums. While all of our patients do not require this procedure, it is readily available on-site should the need arise. Lasers allow Dr. Dabney to perform more accurate procedures, in less time, with less pain, and little to no anesthetic. The diode laser that Dr. Dabney uses seals off blood vessels and nerve endings, preventing bleeding and greatly reducing post procedure pain and swelling inside the mouth.
Dental lasers can reshape gum tissue to expose healthier tooth structure. With the laser technology we can gently and precisely shape the excess tissue that surrounds your teeth, exposing more of the tooth surface. This procedure is often performed on the front teeth to optimize tooth proportions for aesthetically pleasing results. This procedure is quick and painless.
