Our Scheduling Goals: We value your time and have put tremendous effort into designing a scheduling system that will accomplish the following goals. We want to see you on time for your appointments and we want to have plenty of time during each appointment to do the necessary treatments, give you information about your treatment and to answer any questions. We also want to schedule the majority around your school or work obligations.
Shorter Appointments: Our office continually takes advantage of technological advancements and training which allows us to make highly technical adjustments to your braces very quickly. This means that about 80% of your appointments will be able to be scheduled at your convenience. We have put a lot of thought into designing treatment methods that will cause you the least inconvenience possible.
Longer Appointments: Longer appointments may be necessary approximately two to three times over the course of treatment and are scheduled in the morning. By doing this, we do not reserve an entire afternoon for one or two patients but rather accommodate as many families as possible for after school/work appointments.
Cancelled Appointments: Appointments are usually scheduled six to eight weeks in advance. The more notice we have from you of the need to change an appointment, the more likely it is we will be able to offer you a new appointment that is convenient to your scheduling needs. We ask that you be as flexible as possible when re-scheduling any appointments. The time of day available on short notice may not be as convenient to you as the originally scheduled appointment. Prompt re-scheduling of cancelled or missed appointments will allow treatment to progress in a timely manner.
Appointment Reminders: As a convenience to our patients, we remind patients a few days ahead of their appointments by telephone, e-mail and/or text messages.
